“Ente Kurumassery”

Welcome to the autobiographical narration of  a Krumassery that most of us do not know. Late Kandanat Neelakanta Menon, (Ex-Caltex, Mumbai )  recorded these talks in 2011 at our request.  He talked about the Kurumassery of 1930s and 1940s. Family history and social history are seldom handed down to generations in written form.  They are passed on to generations to generations through word of mouth communication.

Volume 1 and 2 are basic and are the  broad introduction of the speaker and his family members. From volume 3  onwards,   the social and economic scene of Kurumassery of 1930s and 1940s are discussed.

KN Menon left this world on 24 March 2012, five months after the last recording. Late K N Menon is seen on the photo above with his wife, Sarasamma (Daughter of Late Dr SP Kurup, Perumbavoor). Sarasamma passed on to the brighter world on 21 February 2018.
